Still and Synopsis from The Caller with Rachelle Lefevre

Synopsis:

Directed by Matthew Parkhill from a script by Sergio Casci, the story concerns a troubled divorcee, Mary Kee (played by Lefevre, who replaced the late Brittany Murphy during production). She moves into a new apartment, where she comes across an old telephone that she falls in love with; however, when she hooks it up, she begins to receive strange calls from a mysterious woman named Rose (DRAG ME TO HELL’s Lorna Raver). The two eventually establish an unlikely friendship, but when Rose claims to be calling from the past, Mary grows suspicious of her new friend. As Rose’s phone calls grow more disturbing, Mary cuts off contact with Rose, who threatens terrible revenge—not just on the Mary of the present, but Mary as a child in the past… THE CALLER also stars two other vampire veterans, TRUE BLOOD’s Stephen Moyer and INNOCENT BLOOD’s Luis Guzmán.

Sounds sweet!

Rachelle Interview

The Montreal Gazette has an interview with Rachelle Lefevre.

Check it all out here.

Here is an excerpt:

“I love fashion, so the photo shoots, having your hair and makeup done, the whole fun dressup and glamorous side of it – it’s a really fun job perk.

“But there’s something about standing still or being in a very contained environment, when it’s just you and the camera.

“It makes me so self-conscious.

“When I’m in front of a movie camera I’m thinking about a million other things, thinking about the other actor, the scene, I’m living a life.’’

Thanks Danielle!

Rachelle Interview

Tails has an interview with Rachelle Lefevre. She talks about her work with animals.

Check it all out here.

The pic is so cute!

Here is an excerpt:

How did you first become involved with animal rescue?
My mother is a psychologist, and when I was 15 years old she called me from her office and said one of her patients had shown up with a dog. [The woman] lived in an apartment where the people next door were cocaine users. They would leave their door open, and sometimes the dog would get into the cocaine and end up getting out of the apartment and wander around in a stupor. One day she found the dog in the middle of the street looking kind of dazed. She couldn’t stand it any more so she took the dog. She was on her way to see my mother and told my mom the story. My mom called me from her office, and asked, “Do you want this dog?” And we took her in.

I became active in rescue and adoption when I met my manager. She got me my first membership to Best Friends as a Christmas gift and made a donation in my name. The donation came with a magazine subscription, and I started reading it. It’s thanks to her that I’ve become interested in participating on a larger scale.

Thanks Ashley!

Rachelle in new TV Show

This fall Rachelle LeFevre will be starring in a new TV show, Off The Map.

Below is some info on her character:

Rachelle will play hippie doctor Eva, who according to Entertainment Weekly, has a great deal of knowledge in “international medicine.” Eva will have a history with the medical clinic the series is set around, thanks to her characters former romantic dalliance with Ben, played by New Zealand-bred actor Martin Henderson.

Thanks Dasey and Tiffany!

Rachelle supports the Twilight Cast

E! caught up with Rachelle Lefevre and she had this to say about Eclipse and the cast:

The ginger beauty tells us she plans to check out Eclipse when it hits theaters next month. “Why wouldn’t I see the movie?” she said yesterday at the Environmental Media Association’s Yes to Carrots Garden Challenge luncheon in L.A. “I support my cast.

“They’re amazing people and they’re great kids and they’re doing awesome work. Why shouldn’t they be supported? And Stephenie Meyer is an incredible writer, as is [screenwriter] Melissa Rosenberg, and I think both of them should be celebrated.”

Plus, she added, she keeps in touch with some of the cast, especially Elizabeth Reaser: “We were like a family.”

Check out the rest here.

I just love this girl!!!
