Twilight
New Moon and New Moon Merchandise

This was sent in by Ashley. Here is what she had to say about the poem, “I wrote the poem for a project in my Language Arts class last year, its inspired by the Twilight Vampires.”

Vampires

Vampires are told as horror tales to haunt your dreams.
Are they killed by wooden nails? This may be how it seems.
Nope. That’s just Hollywood art made by sons & nieces.
But really you must rip them apart & burn the pieces.
They do not burn in the sunlight, Nor do they have long sharp teeth.
They sparkle OH SO bright, But are pale white & ice cold underneath.
Turning into bats surely did not last.
Instead they are thee undead that can run extremely fast.
Stronger than the Hulk Though they need no bulk. Can snap or break,
Surely they are not fake.
