Synopsis
Torn apart by a tragic accident, former couple Josh (Xavier Samuel) and Tina (Sharni Vinson) come face to face in a supermarket for the first time since their break up a year earlier. The awkward encounter comes moments before a robbery takes place; and then the unimaginable occurs, a tsunami swallows the sleepy beach community.

Josh and Tina find themselves in a desperate situation, trapped in the underground supermarket along with other survivors from the store with no escape. Rushing water quickly floods the supermarket threatening to entomb them in a watery grave. Before long the survivors discover they are not alone, the tsunami has brought unwanted visitors from the depths. The survivors quickly realise their battle is not only to overcome the threat of drowning and the predator within their midst, but a threat far more sinister — hungry great white sharks.

As if there weren’t already enough hotness in the “Twilight” series, in “Eclipse” we got Australian actor Xavier Samuel as Riley Biers, the young man who is attacked and turned by Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) into a vampire to lead the newborn army against our pals the Cullens. Who IS that guy?! the Twi-Hards asked when the first movie stills showed Riley leading the villainous vampires out of the water, his eyes (among other things) smoldering; and now that they know, poor Xavier’s life will probably never be the same again.

MTV: Did you feel the pressure acting out such a beloved book and series?

Xavier: Well I felt great about it because when I flicked through the book I was like, where’s Riley?! (laughs) There was like one line, literally one sentence!! I was fortunate in the sense that they decided to depart from Bella’s point of view for the first time – it’s still faithful to the book but it extrapolates other dimensions in it. So there is a kind of degree of expectation and pressure to remain true to a character that is so close to so many people’s hearts. So the pressure’s on, certainly for the characters that have more of a journey. But I think they’ve done an amazing job bringing the books to life.
